Science - testing the best materials to make an umbrella.

In Science, we have been investigating materials and their properties. Today, the children had to investigate the best material to use to make an umbrella for a teddy.

We discussed the fact that umbrellas need to be waterproof which means the water will run off the material or make a puddle rather than soaking in or dripping through.

The children had to drip water onto various materials (of their choice) and record what happened.

Which material do you think worked the best? Tell me in the comments 1G.
