As we have been making sculptures in Art and studying materials in Science, we decided to set a homework which combines some knowledge and skills from both of these subjects.
The children had to make an animal sculpture at home over the half term. They have all presented their masterpieces to each other in class, explaining how they made it, what materials they used and who helped them. I was very impressed with them all and we even had a mini exhibition to the parents after school to show off all their hard work!
