This week, we have been developing our art skills and completed our own self portraits. The children were able to choose their own skin colour paint and then used pencils to draw on their facial features after studying their faces in a mirror. They drew a cross as a guide of where to place their eyes, nose and mouth and then chose their own media for adding colour to their features. Some chose wax crayon, others pastels and some decided to paint their features on. As you can see below, we have some budding artists on our hands!
